Exakt Precision Tools was formed in 2002 in Aberdeen, Scotland by tool designer Neil Refson. His innovative design of mini saw was a runaway success and Exakt have been building and improving ever since.
Over the last few years, Exakt have improved and expanded the range - introducing new and innovative tools as well as developing the flagship Mini Saw.

Mini Saw
The PS160 is a mini circular saw, with a depth of cut up to 14mm (9/16"). It is designed for easy use with one hand, making it ideal for cutting tiles, laminate floors and wall cut-outs.

Mini Saw
The EC330 Mini Saw is the latest iteration of the Exakt EC mini saw series. It has all the same excellent features as the PS160, but with an improved body design - this offers a more comfortable and ergonomic feel to the machine.
With an amazing variety of blades, this is a versatile tool - Cut wood, metal, plastic, ceramics, laminate, tiles and slate quickly and effectively - without the need for three different saws!

Deep Cut Saw
The DC280 is a powerful circular saw which can be easily operated with one hand. Released in 2009, this is the larger, more powerful counterpart to the PS and EC Exakt mini saws, offering a greater cutting depth and 110mm blades.
The depth of cut can be varied and there are a range of blade types for different materials. With a cutting depth up to 26mm / 1", this machine is powerful enough for serious cutting, but easily handled and safer than conventional power saws to use.

Sander Planer
A new concept in sanding tools - a Planer and Sander in one! Released in 2009, this is a new and innovative tool from Exakt. The drum system allows for incredible sanding power - operating at 16,000 RPM, the SP190 offers much greater sanding power than a conventional belt or orbital sander.
The sanding function is based on a Sanding Drum, which the user swaps with the conventional Planing drum. This allows for an extremely powerful sanding tool which can be used to strip, prepare and finish!

Our main tools are all demo-ed here by Andrew Bernard, who shows off some of the best features and uses of the tools. Watch as the mini-saw plunge cuts tiles, the sander-planer strips laquer and the vacuum runs automatically whilst cutting!
